Food Challenge Camp for Teen Chefs

Ready to put your imagination to the test?  In this "clean out the fridge" style cooking competition, participants are challenged to make something marvelous from whatever is in the box.  Every day will bring a different challenge, with prizes awarded daily to the winning, most creative and delicious dish.  If you love to make something from presumably nothing, this camp is for you.  This is a participation, hands-on camp and is ideal for teens 12-15 years old.

Spanish Tapas with Wine Pairing

THIS CLASS IS FULL

The Basque region of northern Spain is home to some of the freshest and most delicious cuisine in the world. With variety that spans all foods from poultry to shellfish to purely plant-based, it is no wonder that tapas (small plates of deliciousness) is so popular the world over. Pairing these small dishes with wine will delight your palate. This is a participation class for ages 21+.

Energize and Heal with Food

THIS CLASS IS FULL.

Adapted from the teachings of the Healing Kitchens Institute in CA, participants learn the basics of making clean stocks and broths, and how to use them to make delicious soup and dishes that are plant-nutrient dense and packed with illness-fighting compounds found in everyday vegetables, herbs and spices, ingredients that have been used around the world for centuries.  This class is especially well-suited to family members and caregivers charged with keeping their loved ones strengthened while in a doctor's care.
